I was researching on this .....

they say a good indicator is how much chemo and dialysis coverage they'll give ....

I have a comprehensive non-saver life insurance and an income saver policy .... but I think that's definitely not enough ...... depending on medisave and medishield is not enough as well .....

AIA has a cancer specific term insurance which costs less than $200 per year and also provides periodic cancer screening. I'm on that plan on top of my accident and hospitalisation plan.

me on the other hand gotta start gainning some weight with workouts... I wouldn't wan to be a bag-o-bones in my later part of life... >____>

I didn't actually went to jog last night but I went to climb up and down the stairs instead...

Fatum SG

actually, I'm thinking of signing up for more saver plans for retirement .... you get the money, and the insurance coverage.

it's a nice idea to have a 50, 60k cheque coming in periodically from 55 onwards ......

I'm thinking CPF would not be quite enough, especially if you lay a house on top of it ....

fudgester SG

Well, I've also got an AIA endowment policy.

That also provides some insurance coverage while acting as my retirement fund.

i have also upgraded my insurance for health a while ago. it's a cpf scheme cum payment in cash (for prenium). for my age, i paid $300 plus and I will be covered in bed (ward A), operation $ (if any), and many other miscellaneous...

buying MediaShield for parents is important lor. my dad a ex-civil servant used his CSC card, minus some from Medisave and the MediaShield I bought for him, covered the rest... so it is pretty worth it and that is from Gleneagles (2person ward) (not even SGH).

the Bear SG

coughing my lungs out...

not sure if i should go out for a walk.. or should i just go back to sleep now that Day 5 is up...

Day 6 would be easy as we went out without my camera... and it was a nice slow day touring zora's Japan office and then the Osaka Castle

I sure would like to know what was the logic behind building a titanium-clad church.....

What were they trying to do? Protecting the church from a direct artillery strike?

Maybe they are afraid of divine punishment that literally came from above?

No offense to any CHC members here though...

I suspect we'd find out more as the investigation unfolds .....

I was telling my mother this morning, it's only a matter of time since those mega churches come under scrutiny, but they can't move in on them first ..... so they got to squeeze that hapless ren ci monk's nuts first ......

if the gov is not careful, there'll be political fallout for sure ....

well a huge number of them are very religious... However, being too over zealous makes them more like fanatics of a cult actually...

they like to focus on the younglings ......

and the younglings are the most militant ones ....

though I've always suspected many of the kids go there just to hook up, or for the camadrie and group companionship alone ....
